FOOD FOR THE EYES // Assalamualaikum. Holla ~ This is good for me since my eyes need it so much. Here are some foods that stand at the top of the list of food that are packed with  nutrients for our eyes .

1. Fatty fish
    Rich in omega-3, fatty fish is like tuna, herring or sardine nourish the cell membranes of nerve cells, including the retina and also prevent the onset eye diseases linked to ageing.

2. Clementines, oranges and mandarins
    As with all citrus fruits, these three fruits can be found almost year-round and are rich in vitamin C. They contain antioxidants that protect the comea and crystalline lens of the eye and help to prevent cataracts.

3. Carrots (normally known)
    It is full with betacarotene an antioxidant precursor of vitamin A and rich in pigments that protect the retina, especially against cataracts.

4. Blueberries
    Improving night vision, bluberries contain vitamin C and anthocyanins, components that boost visual acuity and that can help alleviate eye fatigue.

5. Spinach
    Rich in pigments, beta-carotene and vitamins, spinach is a super food for eye health as it protects against loss of visual acuity and UV rays.

6. Eggs
    Thanks to the numerous antioxidants including vitamin A - essential for seeing in the dark - this food helps protect against ageing - related   macular degeneration (AMD), a disease of retina.

7. Broccoli
This green vegetable is rich in pigments and antioxidants and a contain high level of vitamin C that protects the retina and the crystalline lens from UV rays as well as free redicals, harmful to vision.

  6. Suka sangat ngn blueberry tuh tapi mahal giler harga dia.. hehehe.. Broccoli kalau celur jer pastu makan pun sedap.. Carrot selalu masuk dalam sup ngn nasi goreng.. kalau makan camtu je sedap lagi baby carrot..
